2015 In 2015, Rick and Lyuda accompanied by their 2 children (at the time... now they have 4 Earth Oven enthusiasts!) built their first Earth Oven in the hills of Whitewater, a beautiful suburb located in the Coachella Valley, Southern California. They tell it, that, "it was good ol fashioned hard work and a lot of fun experiencing that first build together".

Little did they know at that time, the importance Earth Oven would play in their lives. Now Cooking, educating, and advancing this wonderful culinary art has become their passion. "Earth Oven cooking enjoyment has been in hiding for far too long. If our family can begin to learn, utilize, and appreciate the many ancient, traditional, and modern cooking techniques that are available to try, we are very confident that others can learn and have fun doing the same thing"! That initial experience, in 2015 sparked another Earth Oven build almost exactly ayear later. It was at this time that the family decided to share their love for this ancient past time with the world.

The Earth Oven invention, a heavy duty readymade ground oven with a lid to hold heat and protect food from the elements, while sealing in those 'only from earth' flavors, is being used by people from all over the world. With countries like Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, South Africa, and the U.S. joining in and leading the Modern Earth Oven movement. Together every continent is taking part of this wonderful cooking tradition. Earth Oven is on the verge of starting a back yard or on-the-go 'cooking revolution.'
